This specie is very famous ,its breed is easy and the animal is insensitive and the keeping is easy as well. It was the first day gecko which was breed by humans.

With 23 - 26 cm it is the biggest day gecko and comes, as the name says, from Madagascar. It likes a temperature between 24 and 32° C and an atmospheric humidity around 40 - 75 % in a terrarium with 140 l.
